PVC pipe has strong corrosion resistance, easy bonding, low price and hard texture. However, due to the leakage of PVC monomer and additives, it is only applicable to the water supply system where the delivery temperature is not more than 45 ℃. Plastic pipes are used for drainage, waste water, chemicals, heating and cooling liquids, food, ultra pure liquids, mud, gas, compressed air and vacuum systems.

Pvc pipe also has good water tightness, which can maintain good water tightness whether the pipe is connected by adhesive or rubber ring.
Pvc pipe has good tensile and thermal stability, and can be used in different environments.
The hardness of PVC pipe is good, so it can be used as a drain pipe to prevent insect and ant erosion and has a longer service life.

1. It has good tensile and compressive strength: but its flexibility is not as good as other plastic pipes.
2. Low fluid resistance: PVC-U pipe wall is very smooth, and its resistance to fluid is very small. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009. Its water delivery capacity can be 20% higher than that of cast iron pipe with the same pipe diameter, and 40% higher than that of concrete pipe.
3. Excellent corrosion resistance and drug resistance: PVC-U pipe has excellent acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, and is not affected by moisture and soil pH, so no anti-corrosion treatment is required for pipe laying.
4. Good water tightness: PVC-U pipes are installed with good water tightness, no matter by bonding or rubber ring connection.
5. Anti bite: PVC-U tube is not a nutrient source, so it will not be eroded by rodents. According to the test conducted by the National Health Foundation in Michigan, rats will not bite PVC-U pipes.
6. Performance test: curing time, shrinkage, splitting strength, tensile strength, peel strength, thermal stability, shelf life, release of harmful substances.

(1). The surface hardness and tensile strength of the pipe are excellent, and the safety factor of the pipe is high.
(2). Good aging resistance, normal service life can reach more than 50 years.
(3). The pipeline has excellent corrosion resistance to inorganic acid, alkali and salt, and is suitable for industrial sewage discharge and transmission.
(4). The friction coefficient of the pipeline is small, the water flow is smooth, it is not easy to block, and the maintenance workload is small.
(5) The material has high oxygen index and self extinguishing property.
(6). The linear expansion coefficient of the pipeline is small, 0.07mm/℃, and the deformation affected by temperature is small. The thermal conductivity and elastic modulus are small, and the frost resistance is excellent compared with the cast iron drainage pipe.
(7). The pipes and pipe fittings can be connected by bonding. The construction method is simple, the operation is convenient, and the installation efficiency is high.
(8). Good water tightness: the installation of pvc-U pipe has good water tightness, whether by bonding or rubber ring connection.
