How to use pvc glue
1. Because PVC glue has a certain pungent smell, corresponding protective measures must be taken during construction. For example, to ensure that the ventilation of the construction site is smooth, the construction personnel should wear masks and gloves, so that the construction personnel can avoid physical discomfort.
2. Before using pvc glue, be sure to wipe the bonded surface clean. For example, clean the outside of the pipe and the inside of the pipe mouth with a dry cloth. If there is oil on the bonding surface, use detergent to remove it.
3. Before using pvc glue, verify the tightness of the socket and socket pipe. As long as the two are inserted once, make sure that the gap is less than or equal to 0.3mm, otherwise if the gap is too large, it will affect the bond strength.
4. When applying pvc glue, evenly smear the inside of the socket along the axis, and then evenly smear the outside of the socket. However, when applying pvc glue, the outside of the socket should be coated slightly thicker, and the pvc glue on the inside of the socket can be thinner.
5 If the use of pvc glue when its liquidity is poor, it is necessary to use indirect heating method to make it good liquidity. It should be noted that the heating can not use electric furnace or open flame, so that you can avoid pvc glue fire burning.
6. After the pipe is coated with pvc glue, it is necessary to insert the pipe into the fitting by quick and slight rotation until it reaches the appropriate position, and then rotate the pipe 1/4 turn. At this time, the position and straightness of the interface should be guaranteed to be accurate.
